march 9 : ephesians 3

"And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
Wouldn't it be great to see the love of Christ? To see it in its entirety. How wide is wide? How long is long? How high is high? And how deep is deep? More than just that, it would be greater to be able to 'grasp' it. Paul prayed this for the church in Ephesus. I wonder if the people of that church actually got what Paul prayed for. Everyday living kind of dilutes God's love doesn't it? It does for me. I have 2 exams coming up, one of them is really important for me, the other not so much. Nevertheless I am constantly studying or constantly worrying about it. When I am not eating I am reading. When I am not walking from class I am reading. Its tough you know. Its easy to get distracted from the more important things of life. The reason why I stress, the reason why I do not give my all to the one who gave his all is because I am yet fully able to grasp His love. I will pray this prayer for myself and hope that Cornerstone too will be able to grasp this love. God bless =]
